Let me just start by telling you about my own workout levels: I have worked out 3- 4 days per week for the last 5 years after gaining a ton of weight on college.
I have done everything from Tae- Bo, to the 3. Day shred, to Zumba, to P9. X. Im over 4. 0 and its been 9 months since I had my baby via c – section. I lost difficult hard to loose fat off my belly. I also feel if you are out of shape its ok but proceed with caution slowly and eventually you will be able to pick up pace. Only if you do not have any pre existing. Injuries i do not recommend. Its tough on your joints for older individuals so be carefull. I say moving is better than not moving at all and you can do the exercises that dont require so much jumping. Its worth buying because the motivation from this guy is awesome. I’m addicted to pushing myself a little harder every time. At 4. 7 and with hormone changes messing with my metabolism, the Insanity workout is giving me what I want – intense compacted cardiovascular workout, core strengthening and abs. It’s the first workout that does all three for me. In addition, there’s no fancy steps or routines – just good old fashioned conditioning! I feel like I’m a football player warming up for a game. Finally, I’ve challenged myself to go further with this workout than any other. What made me just go ahead and get it was the fact that it was a great price and only a 2. I have looked into the Insanity workout but so many CDs and so much time that I just don’t have. This is a fantastic workout guaranteed to make you sweat and get your heart rate up and keep it there for the entire 2. Even the “warm up” is hard but it is worth it! I have been doing it for 2 weeks and have gotten to the point where I can only get through the warm up without stopping. Hopefully in another 2 weeks I will be able to get through the entire 2. Like I said, I have been doing this for 2 weeks, often doing it twice a day; in the morning before work and then another quick 2. I get home before I eat dinner. I didn’t necessarily get this to lose weight but rather to get my heart rate up and get in better shape as far as toning my abs. If you are wanting to get your metabolism fired up this workout will do it for sure! This is actually the only workout that I have stuck with consistently and I have to say I enjoy it and look forward to getting up and getting this workout done! The 2. 0 minutes goes by so fast and I feel great and ready for the day! So I tried INSANITY and seriously. I only did one round (going to do two later). I didn’t follow the diet they instructed so you couldn’t tell from the frontal area how much I lost but I did lose about 1. If I were to diet, it may had been more. Its hard as hell in the beginning but then you become addicted to it. Nelson This 2. It has a warm up in the beginning that gets the heart pumping, then goes into some stretching (which actually is a really great idea because it gives you time to catch your breath and prepare for what’s ahead), then the real fun begins. It is fast paced and really pushes my limits; there are some exercises that get tough on my shoulders so I fill in with a different exercise from one of the other Shaun T videos I own. Then it ends with cool down stretching. There’s a timeline at the bottom of the screen and tips about the exercises throughout the entire program. My favorite part about the program is that each person (Shaun T included) ends up taking a break at some point during the 2.
